When playing online blackjack you should be able to notify the difference between and act on, hard hands, soft hands and pairs. A “hard hand” is one without an Ace.   • Look at the dealers’ upcard
  • Look at your two cards
  • 8 or less, always hit
  • 9, double down if the dealer has 3-6 otherwise hit
  • 10, double down if the dealer has 2-9 otherwise hit
  • 11, double if the dealer has 2 -10 otherwise hit
  • 12, hit if the dealer has 2 or3 stand if the dealer has 4-6 otherwise hit
  • If you have 13 to 16, stand if the dealer has 2- 6, other wise hit
  • 17-21 always stand

Tips for hard hand:

  • Do not play hunches
  • Do not concern about how the other players play their hands
  • Avoid hard drink while playing

  • Look at your starting hand that have an ace
  • A-2 or A-3, double down if the dealer has 5 - 6, otherwise hit
  • A-4 or A-5, double down if the dealer has 4 -6, otherwise hit
  • A-6, double if the dealer has 3-6, otherwise hit
  • A-7, double down if the dealer has 3-6, stand on 2, 7 or 8, otherwise hit
  • If you have A-8 or A-9, always stand

Tips for soft hand:

  • Play soft hand until it turn into hard hand
  • On the first two cards , you can only double
  • Do not blame the dealer for losing

  • Pair of 2s or 3s, split if the dealer has 2 -7, other wise hit

  • Pair of 5s, double if the dealer has 2-9, otherwise hit
  • Pair of 6s, split if the dealer has 2-6, otherwise hit
  • Pair of 7s, split 2-7, otherwise hit
  • Pair of 9s, split 2-6 and 8 or 9. stand if the dealer has Ace, 7 or 10
  • Pair of 10s, always stand

Tips for a Pair:

  • These rules are for 4-8 deck games while doubling after splitting is allowable
